Cross Browser architecture
The Website has been optimised to be viewed in the following browsers: Google Chrome (version 85 or higher), Microsoft Edge (version 85 or higher) and Mozilla Firefox (version 85 or higher).

The Website was built according to the best principles of the responsive web design, which allows for an easy accessibility in computers, smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, and other devices.

The structure of the Website was built in a way that ensures the compliance with the Resolution of the Council of Ministers n.º 2/2018, of 5 of January, which reviews the Resolution of the Council of Ministers n.º 91/2012, of 8 November, which establishes the National Digital Interoperability Regulation (RNID).
Coding standards
The most recent formats of HTML coding (HTML 5) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) were used in order to ensure that the Website stays technically updated.

All the communications between the Website and the user are encrypted via HTTPS (webpages) and via SMTP with STARTTLS (email).
Feedback mechanisms
In compliance with the Decree-Law n. º 73/2014, of 13 May, the Website provides feedback mechanisms for the users. The users have access to a submission form for suggestions, complaints or compliments, which can be found in the bottom right corner of this Website.

The structure of the Website was also built to obtain the AAA level (highest level) of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), regarding the accessibility standards in Websites.
