The Portuguese Government, within the framework of the European cooperation and solidarity mechanisms, confirms that the preparatory process for the repatriation of Portuguese nationals living in Wuhan, who have expressed their wish to return to our country, is under way.
This operation involves the consular, civil protection and health services of the Portuguese State, in line with the defined international protocols, and will be carried out in coordination with the Chinese authorities and the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism.
The specific outlines of this action will be announced in due course.
