The Secretary of State for Internationalization, Mr. Eurico Brilhante Dias, will be paying a visit to New Delhi on the 8th and 9th of April to attend the 5th session of the Economic Commission Portugal-India.
This negotiation structure is created within the scope of the Agreement on Trade, Economic, Industrial, and Technical Cooperation, which was signed between the Republic of Portugal and the Republic of India in 2000. The negotiation gather this year at a political level to follow up the work preparations of the Portugal-India summit, and the EU-India Leaders' Meeting, which will be taking place on the next 8th of May, in Porto.
The Secretary of State for Internationalization will meet with the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Mr. Hardeep S-Puri, with the Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Anurag Singh Thakur, and also with Indian companies that are potentially interested in developing activity in Portugal.
